I’m giving it one more issue to impress me.
Nevermind, I have a pretty big week and I just don’t care. After Saga and Manhattan Projects, I’m losing tolerance for the slow, meandering style of Bendis’ work. I was hoping this would be as good as Powers, but I’m done. I don’t even need this issue.
I’ve really been digging it, so far it’s hit all the buttons i wanted it to when i first heard the pitch for the series
Huh, was this always billed as a mini? For some reason I thought it was an ongoing, but I’m much more likely to purchase this entire thing if it’s only 5 issues…
Seems to be a new thing as of this issue. Probably more realistic given how late the series has been.
It had always been solicited as a mini.
Well the previous 2 issues were just called “Brilliant #1” and “Brilliant #2”. This is “Brilliant #3 (of 5)”.
I won’t read it until I have all of it anyway.
Somehow, I missed noticing this was coming out.
