B.P.R.D. PLAGUE OF FROGS HC VOL 02

In 2001, Hellboy quit the B.P.R.D., leaving Abe Sapien to lead Liz Sherman and a bizarre roster of special agents in defending the world from occult threats, including the growing menace of the frog army first spotted in Hellboy: Seed of Destruction.

Mike Mignola and Dark Horse present the complete Plague of Frogs saga, from Hollow Earth to The King of Fear. This second volume dives deeper into Abe’s origin story, introduces the reader to Bureau villains Memnan Saa and the Black Flame, and features the first appearance of fan-favorite Daimio!

This volume collects B.P.R.D.: The Dead, B.P.R.D.: The Black Flame, and B.P.R.D.: War on Frogs.

Collects three trade paperbacks into one value-priced hardcover collection!

  1. I have volume I. It was my intro to BPRD. Can anyone tell me if I were to buy this volume, would I be buying some of the same stories included in volume I?

  2. Can’t wait to get this, I tore through volume 1 when I got it.

  3. Excellent to see these continue to come out, great to see BPRD supplement the great hellboy library editions

  4. Did this come out today? I originally had it down for September. Instocktrades.com doesn’t have it, and my shop didn’t have it. Anyone pick this up?

    • I talked to my comic guy–this book was supposed to ship but it didn’t make it to the east side of the country.

    • Gotcha. Man, that’s been happening a lot lately. My store owner was complaining about how none of his special orders from the past month have been shipped and that Previews has come late to the East coast several times. That’s gotta be frustrating for retailers trying to meet demand, especially if a whole region is affected.

    • Yeah, he was pretty annoyed. It’s supposed to come in next week, though.

  5. My shop didn’t get it either. This week’s pull list is a bit wonky.
