  1. SO GOOD!

  2. This entire universe has been the AWESOME for a while now.

  3. So glad I joined the BPRD universe with the Abe Sapien mini and now this!  Tons of fun so far.

  4. Jumped on with this series since its the new status quo. I think Ill go back and pick up the old BPRD trades. I don’t really like hellboy, but I like this "team" book

  5. Glad to hear people can jump on board with this. As a long time reader it’s fun to see what newcomers think!

  6. @xrcst: If you can stand the wait, early 2011 is to have the first of several BPRD Omnibus releases. 3 trades per omnibus/standard comic page size. 3 collections to contain the entire War on Frogs storyline. This is 12 trades of material. There are 14 trades in all to date, but BPRD ’46 & ’47 (origin tales) are not relevant to the War on Frogs.

  7. duh! Actually, it is 4 omnibus to make up the whole War on Frogs storyline. Amazon is already advertising the first book and Scott Allie (editor) is already commenting on this over at the the Hellboy board at CBR.

  8. Man this is exciting stuff. Great art through and through and just classic BPRD storytelling. It’s good to see the book more focused on weird little oddities rather than epic, world changing events. The epic stuff is good too, but this is a welcome return to form.

  9. Thanks Rolando. I will probably wait then as long as it isn’t too unwieldy and thick.  Am i the only one that really likes BPRD, but just can’t get into Hellboy?
