  1. This was an excellent return to form. I’m thrilled that Crook is on board as the regular artist. Guy Davis is irreplacable, but these are still some damn good pictures. My only complaint is that Liz looked a bit ugly at times.

    As for Liz’s appearance, I think that was the point. She clearly is suffering from depression. She is in a place very much like where she was when her powers went off for the very first time.

  3. @JaqueNargg, It’s funny you bring up that Liz looked ugly. Even though I love all the work Mr. Davis did, I always thought he drew an unattractive Liz. I agree, this looks like a great start for Mr. Crook as BPRD regular. The page where Liz discovers the husband, was chilling. Also, the covers were hard to choose between. I can’t resist Francavilla, But Sook’s is pretty awesome when you study the details.
