Really dig the cast of this book.

  3. The art is awesome on this book, and the first issue was the real deal.  Can’t wait for this one.

  4. I can only hope that my shop will get both this and the first issue this week, so I can catch up.

  5. Jumped onto BPRD/Hellboy with this series, so I’m a little confused, but I am eager!

  6. @kwisdumb -If you have questions you should post them.  Someone on the site can likely fill you in to some extent.

@kwis – There’s a tiny bit of continuity held over from BPRD 1946. That mini should include everything you need to catch up.

That said, read everything with Mignola’s name on it, because it’s awesome. 🙂

  8. I’ve never read a BPRD book before this, but the twins on art is a must buy for me. Don’t know if I’ll stick with the book after this mini, but the first issue was a treat.

  9. My shop got issue #2, but still didn’t get #1.  I guess that just means I will get to read two issue back-to-back next week.

  10. really digging this sereies. I think issue 3 is where stuff’s gonna get really crazy cause it looks like they’re setting up a couple of things with this issue.

  11. yeah I’m really into this series too. Although i msh prefer mignola’s art, gabriel ba is certainly a great alternative in my book.

I didn’t read BPRD 1946. How was that story and does it tie-in to this series at all?

  12. I wasn’t feeling this issue story-wise but it sure was pretty. Looking forward to reading the whole arc in one sitting.

  13. Loved this. The art is definitely the best thing about it, but that’s not to say the writing isn’t excellent as well. The creeative team has a way of setting a mood that I haven’t seen in a lot of other books. Definitely in this one for the long run. 5/5.

  14. Awesome stuff.
