BOYS #50

The Boys’ first encounter with the Seven reaches its bloody conclusion in the terrible aftermath of 9/11, as Mallory gets what he’s looking for and Butcher very definitely does not. The Homelander shows just how far he’ll go, Maeve finds a solution of her own, and the status quo is set- just in time for it all to fall apart…

  1. Still on board after 50 issues.  i used to read this one first.  I want to again.  I hope this is a killer benchmark issue.

  2. @skydog  Your mouth to God’s ears!

  3. When the hell does this story take place? This arc has just been confusing, and without Hughie I find it a little hard to care about the rest of the cast.

  4. Seriously!  What the fuck happened?  Did Grant Morrison take over this book?

  5. Hmm … I’d swear this was all back story … but the pieces just aren’t falling into place for me. I’m not seeing how this fits … other than the fact that Butcher is still pissed he didn’t get to take his shot at the Homelander …
