After last issue I decided it may be time to jump off. There is nothing standout about that cover, but i am interested in Booster Gold in WWI. If this issue isn’t very good, then I am done. I promise myself.
I’m pretty much in the same situation. I held on during the Dixon and Remender two-parters, hoping that it’d get better when Jurgens took over (a totally irrational thought process), but #15 was pretty boring throughout. #16 is it. If I’m not at least entertained by this, then I’m out for good.
I actually thought the Remender story was pretty good, but I am glad to hear I am not the only one in this situation.
@Andrew Remender’s story was pretty good. This story seems to be getting better after a lackluster start. I wonder where this story is going with the magical transporting knife.
This was a pretty decent book. It didn’t wow me, but it wasn’t bad. I’m going to give Jurgens at least the rest of this arc, maybe into the next one before I decided to drop it. I’m sad that hes not going to be as funny as John’s run was, but I’d rather him have a more serious approach then attempting humor if he can’t deliver. The art was pretty dang good though. I really like his style.
I’m really surprised that more people are not pulling this title. It really is a great read and Jurgens’s art is crisp and clean..in other words fantastic!!
I like Jurgens and I really like his work here… not sure why people want to drop this one.
@Hawkboy i agree i kept on this through everything and its so good
