BLOODSHOT #0

From the darkest days of World War II and Korea, and through the hell of Vietnam and Afghanistan, Bloodshot’s origin leaves a bloody trail of discarded lives and forgotten families. But which memories are real? Which families? Which children? Is Bloodshot many men…or no man at all? Is he simply a soulless killing machine or something more? Who is responsible? And why have they engineered the most dangerous weapon ever conceived by man?

  1. With this issue, Matt Kindt has done what no one else has: made me care about Bloodshot. Too bad Kindt’s not sticking around, though. On the plus side, between this & this week’s X-O Manowar, I’m more excited for Unity . . .

  2. I’ve been on a real big Matt Kindt kick lately. Just read Super Spy and I’m almost all the way caught up on Mind MNGT. This is only like the second issue of Valiant that I’ve ever read but this had me floored. POTW for me.

  3. I’ve never read a Valiant book before. Can I just jump right into this?

    • You should be able to, Valiant does a great job of having a nice recap on the first page to bring you up to speed. Check it out you’ll be glad you did.

Also this was one of the best the best 0 issues origin stories I’ve read. I like that there’s still some mystery about who exactly is Bloodshot.

    • I was wondering the same thing. Based on all the positive reviews, I think I’ll pick this up.

    • I had no idea who Bloodshot was before I read this and I loved it.
