  1. Gee, that really looks like a Batman cover, a bad Batman cover, but a Batman cover.

  2. Just bought the last few issues to try this series out, and now I’m totally onboard! I can’t wait for many more months of Panther actio—

    Oh.

  3. … please don’t go

  4. Jefte Palo!

  5. I expect shocking page turns from this status-quo changing issue! Please don’t kill T’challa off!

  6. What a great run! Very sad to see this book go. I think it is one of Marvel’s current best.

  7. This is one of the best books Marvel is producing today. The other is Daredevil. The difference? Black Panther is black and that means fewer readers. Too bad.

    • Damn . . . I hope not.

I think your claim would have more weight if it was the same creative team on both books.

    • Wait and see how USM does as a new (non-Caucasian) character before we go claiming that books are not making it because of a character’s race.
This is one of the best books marvel is making, but in my experience, that means it is about to go (See Captain Britain and MI-13, Agents of Atlas, or any number of other great books that do not survive due to a lack of X or Avengers-type people). I also think that the authors tell a nice complete story here, which is sometimes nice. They will pick this back up in another title (just like Daredevil recently did).
