  1. if there was anyone who was gonna have a weird origin involving S&M it had to be Ozymandias, amirite?

    • S&M seems to be an underlining theme in Watchmen books. Nite Owl last week, Minutemen with Hooded Justice abusing Captain Metropolis and the Comedian #1’s cover is very suggestive.
dressing up in costumes is very fetish-like behavior. Ain’t it cool?!

  2. I frickin’ love this cover!

  3. S&M is how boring people seem edgy, both in real life and comics.

  4. Kelly Kelly (@annaluna) says:

I look at that cover and I think “nobody designed shoes like that before 2009, much less before Watchmen.”

  5. I thought the first issue of this was wonderful. The art was simply beautiful, but of course it was, it’s Jae Lee. I really liked the writing, especially Veidt’s monologue, despite the obvious similarities to Bruce Wayne’s early training. I was least excited about this book in the Before Watchmen fold, but it has become my favorite. Looking forward to this!

  6. The story is good, but the art elevates the entire thing . Fantastic!

  7. Great book and my favourite of the BW series.
