   I agree. This was excellent. I was really down about Rossmo leaving the book, but I have no complaints about Browne. He did a great job of acknowledging Rossmo’s style and design without slavishly aping it. Similar, in the same “universe,” but not a soulless duplicate.

   I really like the way the new threat was introduced. Not at all what I thought was going to happen.

     Yeah, Browne really stepped up. The series could’ve fallen off a cliff without Rossmo.
