This is one of the surprises of the new 52 to me. I just wish they would stop having Batman in this book. Let Batwing, forgive the pun, spread his wings.

He’s gonna fight Somali pirates or at least something similar ? Good use of the country and it’s troubles to ground BW as a hero there.
I love it when Judd writes comedy moments! I want to know more about that swimming story.
This book keeps emphasizing the bat-connections, which have zero interest for me. I wanted a book about a cool African superhero who was going to clean up Africa. I liked the opening arc, especially the origin, villain, and previous super hero team, but the book is heading in the opposite direction.
I’m kind of surprised but I think this was the last issue of the book for me.
I’m loving the book, but I think the Batman appearances need to stop. I get that they are trying to make him seem like more a part of the Batfam, but David is getting overrun in his own book.
Batwing is part of the Batfam, but he’s like that distant cousin or uncle. Insanely cool, but you don’t get to see him a lot.
