So, how was this?
I have a huge pile of Fear Itself I’m about to wade thru.
I guess after that it’s The Fearless, then Shattered Heroes then this, iirc.
Oh, the price we pay to keep up with Nick Fury.
I have enjoyed it so far, the art is decent and pretty good story.
Nothing to me has been really shocking or surprising and I had a feeling the way things were going to be played out.
It’s mostly a comic for Nick Fury fans, the cameo by Deadpool in the middle of the series was great though.
It’s been a solid 3/5 for me. I really think it woulda been a lot better if it was a 4 part story instead of a 6, but thats just my opinion. I was really surprised to find out Nick Fury was his Dad, I really didn’t see that coming.Needless to say I’m really excited to see what happens next and how it all ends. Oh! And I heard this is where agent colison make his MU debut!
I don’t know why that gets me so excited but it does!
The whole coincidence with his eye was hilariously blatant…
Watch, within a few months the real Nick Fury will be somehow killed in action while Marcus becomes brain-dead. Then, Nick will somehow have his consciousness placed into Marcus’ body (the family tie will be what makes it possible) and badabing badaboom Black Nick Fury in the regular 616. That way movie goers will no longer be confuzzled by Sam Jackson in the role.
Also helps to de-age the now mortal Nick Fury, who gave up the last of his Infinity Formula (the stuff keeping him alive so long) to revive Bucky after Fear Itself.
ugh. Who is going to actually use this character? He’s nowhere near as cool as Nick Fury.
Agree. Not sure why the suits at Marvel feel the need to bring the movie version of Nick into the comics. Newer does not always mean better. (i.e. New Coke, the New 52, the new adventures of Scooby Doo…..the list goes on)
Yeah, fuck new things!
