After Bruce Wayne tells the world that he is the financial backer of Batman, he establishes a worldwide franchise of Batmen to protect the entire globe.
This is the beginning of a stunning new direction for the world’s greatest detective that will team him with Catwoman, Batwoman and Batman Incorporated representatives on international crimefighting missions against Lord Death Man in Japan, South America and Argentina.
Then, from the pages of the LEVIATHAN STRIKES special, Batman realizes to his horror that he’s been outwitted as the true identity of Leviathan continues to elude him.

Pulls

Not sure if I’ll buy it this week or next, nevertheless it’s a definite pull
Various people in my LCS hated this title, but I enjoyed it despite the delays.
Will definitely pick this up before the next volume begins in May.
Morrison’s work always draws polarizing opinions. But if you like the writer you’ll have a great time with Batman Inc.
From what I can tell many were haters because it was ‘too many’ Batmen. I personally feel that its an interesting direction that hasn’t been tried before, so worth a look!
@henryj2112: I can’t speak for everyone, but I didn’t mind the series because of “too many Batmen.” In fact, I loved the first two issues, but the Morrison started writing stories that were in the present in strict alignment with a story from the past but there was also an alternate dream like hallucination going on, but the real story was….exhausting to follow. I think that’s the big divisive issue for people. He just can’t seem to tell a story anymore without fucking around with a timeline. And sometimes those stories are amazing, and sometimes they’re just okay (and spending a vast amount of time trying to understand a story that you think is just okay when you could instead pick up something that’s either challenging and excellent, or else just okay but a straight forward story, many people are going to avoid the complex average one).
If you don’t want a comic that challanges you to think, then Grant Morrison isn’t your writer.
This was a great series, can’t wait for the new one to start in May!
I gotta get this – just recently got into Morrison’s Batman run and i’m loving it.
Also realyl dug his New X-Men run
Hope he turns things around on Action comics soon though cos I’m not digging it for some reason
