    @KickAss: Yeah, it’s almost impossible now at this point to live up to the hype.  To a certain extent, I think that part of the excitement around this title when it launched was the creative team.  However, as we know, Quitely didn’t stay on past issue 3, so that let a little steam out of the room.  

    At the time, it was also NEW!! and EXCITING!! to have a new Batman and a new Robin after 75 years of Batman comics.  2 years into the experiment, it has been a bigger success than I think anyone predicted, but at the same time, this team is now been in existance for 2 years.  You may not have read their stories yet, but it’s not quite so NEW!! as it was before.  

    All that said, I am very excited to finally add this trade to my collection.

    I just saw that you can buy the first six issues of B&R on the Comixology app. (Available for the first time today, I believe.)  Anyway, they are 1.99 an issue, so all six are only going to cost you $11.94.  I pre-ordered the tpb, so I am already going that route.  No need to double-dip.  But, if DC is going to release there digital versions on the same day as the trade comes out, I might take the digital plunge with some other series.
