  1. Glad to see Lee Garbett back, but I miss the Noto covers already 🙁

  2. Really? I love this cover.

  3. Yeah, Lau’s covers are a huge improvement art-wise, though they don’t quite capture the personality of the book.

  4. That is a hot looking Batgirl! sssssss

  5. So this isn’t tied into Red Robin?

  6. @mikeandzod21: That was just a two part crossover – one issue in each title.

  7. Fucking awesome cover.

Also, I believe that this would conclude the Red Robin/Batgirl crossover, but the crossover only used 1 issue of Batgirl and will finish in Red Robin?  Confusing, but I think that is right.

  8. Batgirl’s bike was in last week’s Red Robin, as was Oracle…The official crossover is done, but it’s definitely linked.

  9. an alright issue i thought. I think i have a hard time giving 5*’s to first parts in story arcs and first issues in general. but definatly a solid 4*

  10. The page where Oracle asks for an air fern and Stephanie’s reaction to the request help seal the deal for me when selecting a POTW. Too many good books this week.

  11. I gotta say I’m sick of Oracle going up against this bad guy over and over and over again. He’s a great villain and her perfect foil, but some other villains would be great or even better get a great nemesis for Batgirl.

  12. Is Cluemaster still alive/a villain?  Having never read any pre-Batgirl Stephanie stories, I’m kind of itching for that dynamic.

This wasn’t the best issue of this book, but this book is like bacon: even the worst is still amazing. Loved the scene between Stephanie and Gordon.
