  1. I feel like if I don’t buy this issue, Paul is gonna find out and have my legs broken.

I’ve been looking forward to jump on, and since I have an average sized week with my list, I’ll surely get this. Also, that cover is super great.

  2. I loved their previous team up.  This should be fun too!  It’d be kinda cool to see it in 3-D too.

  3. This is part of why I love comics–where else could you have a story where two teenage super-heroines taking out black & white Draculas? 😀

  4. Now that’s a cover!!

  5. i’m buying this for two reasons: supergirl and dracula

  6. 3D? Yup, I’m in

  7. Felt like Lee Garbett was really starting to come into his own on Batgirl, he’s very Clayton Henry/Paco Medina-esque. glad he’s back.

  8. 24 Draculas can’t be wrong!

  9. I doubt it’s really n 3D…

  10. best cover since Scalped #30

  11. My god what a cover.

  12. I love this series. And this issue is just fun. The banter and dialogue is top notch. Even though it might be a bit much if it was  on a monthly basis I would probably buy a Supergirl/Batgirl book.

  13. Made this my pick. It was a toss up between this and 28 days later.  This won out barely because my comic week typically goes like this.

Go to store, pick out the comics I think I’ll want to read, pay the price, think to myself. Man thats a lot of money, maybe I should stop reading altogether or just do a handful of great series in trades. I get home and randomly grab a book from the pile, read..rinse and repeat. Usually theres a couple of ugh-fests that cement me stopping altogether. Then I get to a book like this, it makes me smile, and even though it’s twelve-year old girlish… giddy inside. It just does everything right. Makes me care and have an affection for the characters as well as just having fun for reading the book.

  14. I love series that are genuinely funny, instead of just swarmy and snarky…not that there’s anything wrong with that.

So I’m VERY glad that I picked up this issue, since the humor here is top notch and clever, and was an incredibly fun read. This’ll certainly be a series that I’ll keep a close eye on.

  15. Oh God, best line of the issue…maybe the series so far, but I can’t paste it here yet because of spoilers!   No Spoiler spoilers… 😉      Sorry couldn’t resist!   The expression on her face when she answers Kara’s question while Kara changes into her costume, is just priceless!   Speaking of which, why is Kara destroying a perfectly good sweater?  I see no indication that it was already damaged, she just shreds that thing to reveal the S-shield below.

My only other nitpick is why a mindless shell of a construct just reciting lines from the movie is doing things like hopping on a segway or jumping into a photobooth.   Honestly, I dont really care…it’s campy and fun and it made me smile bigger than anything else I read this week (and nearly everything I pulled this was really strong!)  I’m glad to see that at least of this writing the fan community is backing me up.  I just hope we can see it as POTW on the show!
