Didn’t know this was coming out. What a pleasant surprise.
I had just learned about Axe Cop when the plans for a television series were announced. Also, soon after that, recognized a poster in an episode of The IT Crowd.
Alright. Didn’t live up to my expectations. More tedious than awesome.
Not nearly as good as Bad Guy Planet, but I had fun with it if I read it as if there were a deeper meaning to things. Like, how on Planet Weird Gorilla, the kids were the smartest people on the planet and as you got older you got dumber. It was fun to think that the 8 year-old was just trying to be clever and talk shit about his parents.
