      Yep, me too. I didn’t read any of the “aftermath” books from Fear Itself or other previous events, but I think this has been super solid from a story standpoint, and even though 1 and 2 had some funky (maybe due to too-tight deadlines?) artwork, last issue was much better. And if Mark Brooks’ interiors are even half as good as his covers, I think this issue will continue the upward swing of the art quality.

      Mark Brooks was the main reason I picked this up to start with, but as you say, it has been solid throughout. I’d like to have some idea of where they are heading with this though. I mean, presumably Cyclops is going to get out of prison fairly soon, but to what end? I suppose this book is really just a lead in to some regular titles.

      I agree. I heard some guys talking about it at the shop and picked up #1-3 last week. I feel like a lot of the set-up for the new status quo is happening here. Interesting stuff.

      I came here to say that. Glad I checked the other comments first. If this was included in the big AvX hardcover I’d definitely be buying it. This is a really good story.

      Agreed. Not only is the Brooks art great, but this really makes me wonder what Gillen would have done with the X-Men if he got a chance to do it without all the interference from events. I really liked what he was doing with Sinister and I hope he gets a chance to work on an X book in the future.
