I think this may get higher pulls than usual, but who knows really? I’m excited to read it!
I’m on the fence about the new Captain Marvel series, but I will be getting this issue, in any case.
Sort of weird that this would come out before Captain Marvel 1.

That’s exactly what this book is supposed to be for. In-universe excitement.
This was fun. But was there a Friends moment in this comic?

I was excited for this, as Carol Danvers is one of my favorite characters (and Spidey’s my fav) and as a couple of people have said this issue was a lot of fun, which is what this book should be. Looking forward to next issue!
Avenging Spider-Man #9 was really fun! It had a silliness to it without being comedic that I enjoyed. Spider-Man and Ms-now-Captain Marvel are such an odd couple that I want to see more of them. Loved the colors in this issue. I really hope this helps boost Carol’s new series; I want her book to be succesful. $3.99 is still quite steep, though.

…and they got shorted by Diamond, so I have to wait for a re-ship. But the LCS will hold my copy.
This was fun, found Spidey TOOOOOO jokey, I like one more balanced. Other than that solid book.
Overall the avenging Spiderman series is really well written and thoroughly entertaining. If it wasn’t for that I would have a really tough time justifying 3.99 for a 20 page book. It’s not even 22 pages…. I don’t know how marvel can justify charging these prices. I guess they just figure Spidey fans will pay whatever price tag is on the books. BTW the ASM movie was awesome. Only second to Spider-man 2…
I hope Captain Marvel #1 is better than this comic. Wasn’t entertained at all. Just my opinion.
Wow, this comic was just bad. I am glad I didn’t order Capt. Marvel now. I was thinking about trying it but I really haven’t liked anything Deconnick has written. And this series has just gone down the drain since Zeb left. It has just become a throw away book.
