When you farm a field, for each season of harvest there must also be a time when the field shall remain fallow.
I guess this is the mulch. *sigh*

Um When does Joe Mad come back? Please tell me he does?
Leinil Yu is next.

I think he comes back after the crossover with Daredevil and Punisher.
Anyone, please, anyone but Land!!! I wanted to read this. I love Hawkeye!! But God, i can not stand Land. He’s one of the reasons i dropped Uncanny.
Same here I will resume buying this when land’s arc ends.
I believe the arc is only one issue.
@ScorpionMasada That is the best news i’ve heard all day! As soon as I heard he was on this book I said to myself “Hey look here comes Land to ruin another awesome book with his porn faces!”
I considered skipping this issue too, but I follow writers more than artists and as long as Land doesn’t confuse me with the “sexy” look it should be fun.
@ScorpionMasada yeah I might still pick this up since it’s a light week for me, it’s just really hard for me to give money to look at Land’s art; however I really do like Zeb Wells’ Spider-Man. Soooo going with a maybe depends on how generous I feel tomorrow when I log into ComiXology.
Next is Leinil Yu for an issue, then the Omega Effect crossover begins in #6.
Van Meter, Waid, McNiven, Chechetto, Morales

Never read anything he drawn, what’s so bad about him? I mean, it could have been worst, like Rob Liefield kind of worst! 0_o
Yep, but looking at the preview makes me want to stay away until Mad comes back. It works out though because I don’t like paying $3.99 to Marvel for their comics.
Yeah, now comes the “writer” side of it and I think it outweighs the crappy art, no? 😉
I loved issues 1-3 so much I can roll my eyes over the art and enjoy the story! 🙂
Yeah, I don’t think he’s bad. I just think that the people who don’t like him are WAY more vocal than the people who do.
Damn I forgot Land was doing a few issues of this, I’ll still pick this up but I really hate that he’s on this book now.
For right now, Land is just doing #4.
Lots of good artists (and a crossover) coming soon.
Check out the links I posted above to their solicits.
Oh good, for some reason I was under the impression he was doing like 3 issues.
I like hawkeye so I would have probably fliped threw it and maybe bought it at the shop, but since it will be bagged for the free digital copy cant do that, so won’t be buying it.
(do people really need or even want digital copies of comics that they already have a physical copy of?)
I have to agree that I wish they would just do away with the polybag and the “free” digital download.
Just make the comic available for free on the site for a short period right after the street date.
I really hope a bunch of people don’t drop this book, based on the mistaken belief that Greg Land is the “new artist”, based on the cover price, or based on the “free” download gimmick.
That would suck, because it really is a pretty good comic book.
They weren’t bagged this week, at least not at my shop.
Yah, they changed it to a sticker covering the code instead of bagged as of this week. I must say good move marvel, it’s nice to be able to flip through books. I looked at it in the shop it looked decent and I even bought it, so they gained at least once sale by changing it.
Leinil Yu on #5!
Van Meter, Waid, McNiven & Chechetto on #6!
Crossover with DD and Punisher begins in #6.
Don’t let Greg Land kill Spider-Man!
8)
I wonder if Greg Land is the reason this title has so few pulls this week. I was shocked to see it so low on the list of top pulls.
If Joe Mad can’t keep up a monthly they should just Hellboy this series.
I enjoyed this.
Is it me or are Spider-Man comics the only comics that achieve that strange melancholy tone/feeling that the ending of this comic had?
Loved the characterization of Hawkeye and the ending 4/5
