  1. Issue #1 was so awesome.

  2. Tales of the Real Avengers

  3. My head tells me to trade wait but I just can’t.

  4. Loved the last issue, I hope this is just as good.

It should be monthly, I heard Alan Davis has finished all the art

  5. This smells like the Pick of the Week…

  6. @Pozrdu – Same here. The Bendis books are alright, but thsi "trinity" is killing it. I hope it doesn’t de-rail this issue.

  7. I’m really not a Dan of Alan Davis, and I’m really annoyed by the ‘this is right after Siege yet Steve Rogers isn’t wearing his Captain America uniform’ thing. Like he just said ‘hey the battles over and nobodys said it but in gonna put on this turtle neck and act like I’m the head of SHIELD’

  8. I keep hearing the ‘Davis has already finished this’ rumor. I find it hard to believe that Marvel could stand to delay their publication/money gratification, but it is possible that with so many new (and ‘New’) Avengers books they felt bimonthly was the only way to go to keep from oversaturating the market. That rings of a common sense that feels alien to the normal mode of business. More is always better, right?

  9. @Jimbilly4 it was my understanding that the release schedule is the way it is because Davis wanted it that way.

  10. Great issue, 5 stars from me! But my only issue is what’s the deal with Hela? She rules a kingdom in Hell over in Thor, but took over the nine realms in this? Weird.

  11. Captain America gets the girl and Tony Stark gets tortured. I love this.

  12. I’m genuinely curious here: is there a reason Bendis cannot write this well all of the time?

  13. @Glunders I’m just going to say sometimes he gets lazy. I mean Avengers will sell no matter how good the script is so he doesn’t put much work into it but a limited series, even of the Avengers, he has to work harder on.

  14. this was amazing, as expected.  but my only concern is how lopsided this story that is about all three of these characters will seem if it continues to mainly be about Thor’s world.  maybe by the end there will be more to it than that.

  15. Wow! I was really pumped by Bendis’ writing on this, so many “YES!” moments. Davis’ art was simply gorgeous as well. “That would be a certain god of thunder. Oh…you better run.”

  16. I thought this was incredibly weak all around. It didn’t have the Bendis trademark diologue, the art looked like a badly colored black and white reprint from 1971, and the lettering was messed up in a few places. Not to mention the story itself was uninspired and bland. It was just as boring as Thor has been since Siege.
