  1. I don’t understand why people aren’t digging this. It’s old school Avengers fun.

    • The art has been amazing….but the story is just okay…and I’m a pretty big Bendis fan.

    • Agreed, I’m not going to miss Bagley drawing the Avengers.

    • I’m guessing too much Bendis, too much Avengers, 3.99 price, Bagley’s DC work was terrible. Those are probably some of the reasons.

I feel worse that MU Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes has almost no pulls at all. That book is pretty fun.

  2. The first one was a little slow but the second issue picked right up and I really liked it. Like AquaPimp82 says, it’s just good old school Avengers Fun!

  3. Okay….just finished this issue and I have to say it was great. The book has gotten better with each issue and this was the best so far.
Bagley is a beast and Danny Miki makes him look even better….and I loved the dialogue in this one (which in my opinion is Bendis strong suit)……..Plus it ended with Thanos (thats good timing)…..Loved this issue.

I hope we get Taskmaster as a villian some time sooner than later…..Would love to see Bagley draw him!

  4. I didn’t like the first issue, but I really wanted to read something Avengers-y (not going near AvX), so picked up issue 2 and 3, this series has improved.

  5. Wasn’t Thanos trapped in the Cancerverse?

  6. This series has definitely improved. The mastermind was a total shocker but it clearly makes sense given the timing to the Avengers movie.

    4 stars, very enjoyable.

  7. Count me as one of the people enjoying this series.

  8. @RoiVampire – Great call, this is an old school avengers type of story linr and I for one am loving it! This has so far been one of the best Avengers stories I have read in a few months and that for me is the truth.
