There are quite a few characters I don’t know. I’d actually love to read more of the other folks. I’ve read Avengers Academy and the Runaways, but no next to nothing about the rest!
I never have read any of the Avengers Academy or Runaways and jumped straight into this and still found it very enjoyable. Lot`s of fun learning the new characters.
This is hands down the best Avengers book out there.
OH GOD YES.
I knew X-23, and a little about Darkhawk, Hazmat, and her gross Boyfriend. As a rule, I HATE teen characters. They are unlikeable, and at this point, I’m tired of reading their arc to becoming Peter Parker clones. I also thought the HIgh Concept of this (Hunger Games in the Marvel Universe herpderp) was dumb, and not something I wanted.
I am SHOCKED at how much I am loving this series. It has been non-stop awesome for 8 issues, and I’m really looking forward to more.
