    Oh, I’m so used to banners like “Heroic Age” or “Brightest Day” that I assumed it was some over-arcing theme between several books.  It’s so sad to me that that was my first thought.  Name of the arc…hmmm…interesting…

    Wow. This is the third issue of AA that I’ve picked up, being entirely unimpressed the previous two times. That said, this issue was a revelation. In 22 pages Christos Gage and Sean Chen have made me care about characters that I’d written off as cliched pastiches on multiple occasions. The twist at the end was truly chilling. Consider me a convert! POW!

    This was a good issue and it is awesome that they are finally dealing with Speedball. I think that they are giving to much focus on certain characters however and hope they feature some of the others soon but still an awesome story.

    I think the Magic 101 is just part of the cover. I really enjoyed this issue. The Speedball thing was a little bit of an explaining away of a real psychological problem though.
