  1. hm, interesting. so far Bendis has introduced great characters to the Marvel U. I’m looking forward to this new one.

  2. This arc has been awesome–after a huge let down for the first arc. I do wish I had trade waited this storyline though cause it’s pribig to be one of the best acengers stories I’ve read in a long time.

  3. Yep. Typos while writing on my iPhone under my desk at work… Acengers Assembley!!!

  4. Apparently this is all splash pages (listening to Marvel noise this morning).  Might consider jumping on this again.

  5. Take that digital comics!

  6. Good book so far.

  7. Avengers + Infinity Gauntlet = Awesome!

    ’nuff said!

  8. JR JR KILLED it with this issue!!! Whoa!!!

  9. @Jdudley  you said it brother

  10. So, who the hell was the new cosmic character?  Are they talking about The Hood?

  11. @jonnyflash  i didn’t know what you were talking about until i read the solicit, which kind of explains why i rarely read solicits. no idea sir.

  12. Last page reveal of the new cosmic character—and said character is perfectly foreshadowed throughout the issue. Definitely an “oh &*#%!!” moment.
Fans of certain recent cosmic stories should be very pleased indeed.

  13. @Jdudley  is thanos really new though

  14. Really liked the issue, but…What about Starlord and Nova!!!! Did they die for nothing?  I know all will be explained, but sometimes you cant help these feelings, ya know?

  15. I’m pretty sure the “new cosmic character” that the solicit is refering to is Chunky Uatu The Watcher. Seriously, he has a George Lucas neck!

  16. @comicBOOKchris  I seriously thought Kingpin had become the Watcher in the scene where the Hood spots him in the bushes.

  17. My first thought: Why is the Kingpin dressed up like the Watcher?

  18. It makes a lot of sense that the watcher is fat. All they do is stand around all day.

  19. Going subscription on this with number 13. Haven’t read much of the Heroic Age stuff yet besides some T-Bolts. It’s piled up with all of the other books. :

  20. Awesome, epic stuff. Very fun comics. Very fat watcher. Very exciting last page.

Oral history is just as engaging as ever.

  21. I thought it was really interesting that bendis decided to do almost every page as splash just seemed odd In a good way

  22. I can’t get enough oh the art in this book

  23. really good issue, i thought. i found that when bendis brought the slash page format it was to great effect

  24. Yeah this has definitely been the best issue so far. Hopefully he’s hitting his stride with it.

  25. Good!! I enjoyed it the other night with some pistachios and tea!! Thats it.

  26. Guh. Didn’t like the huge amount of text boxes as narrated by the Watcher. Looking forward to more story next month via Bendis dialog!
