ASTRO CITY #3

In the midst of all-out battle between Honor Guard and the Skullcrushers in the mountains of Ecuador, we see the human cost, as HG support staff member Marella Cowper wades into the middle of it. Why is she there? What will she find? And why does she consider it all her fault?

  1. Conclusion to last issue & hopefully a little more of Honor Guard?!

  2. I thought last issue was fantastic, with a cool twist at the end. Looking forward to more of this book, very glad it’s back.

  3. Astro City has yet to disappoint me and this latest run has been just as good as the older AC stuff.. wish it came out every week.

  4. i’m needing to cut back my pull, so i think this might be one on the chopping block sadly. I never read the original stuff… and can’t recall the twist at the end of last ish… so probs time for me to go. i will miss those covers though.

    • I strongly would recommend that you hang on to this title. I understand needed to cut back your pull, I need to do that as well but This is one series that I refuse to let go of.

    • i didn’t pick it up this week… will wait till some reviews are out (however 4.3 aint bad)… so might pick it up next week, when my pull will feel a little lighter than a week with batman, thor, saga, jl and last weeks strode.

  5. It’s nice to have one title published by DC that doesn’t make me cringe.

  6. Boy, whatever problems Dark Ages brought to this series have been completely forgotten with this new start. This book is back, maybe better than ever. GREAT STORY. And Anderson’s art has been really good as well.

I have to admit I was skeptical that Busiek/Anderson could recapture their old mojo, but they sure have, this book is solid.

    • Currently reading volume 1 Life in the Big City. I love the characters. Each issue seems to be from a different characters point of view. Loving it so far!
