  1. I’m curious as to how Marjorie gets us from Kyle refusing the proposal to married in one issue’s time. It’s sure to be jam-packed!

  2. Wow, this book has about one tenth the number of pulls as Saga. Not that the iFanbase is automatically representative of the entire audience (I’m pretty sure it isn’t), but it makes me wonder if this really is “the issue everyone has been talking about”?

Yes. Everyone who’s not into comics.

    • I’ve been talking about this issue but have no interest in reading it – I thought issue 49 was terrible and don’t want to waste my time with this – I’m all for gay marriage but am against disjointed confusing weak comics.

    • If those same people who are talking about this comic actually READ Saga #4 I think they would forget this issue in a heartbeat and attack Saga for ruining our children.

  3. whats going on bigger pick than saga? itll change saga will get the higher %

  4. This was a lot more enjoyable than I expected. Figured it was just gonna be an over hyped boring story but it was definitely a solid story. I don’t follow x-men so I didn’t know the two characters but in one issue i felt emotionally connected to them. Good writing.

  5. This was a surprise. While I bought it to support gay marriage, I also got a really good comic to boot. The best part was having Alpha Flight fix the seating arrangements that had X-Men sitting next to Avengers.

  6. Now this! this is the marjorie liu i know and love! out freaking standing! and the 2 panels with x-23 and jubes….. oh man… i want my x-23 ongoing back!

  7. Very solid issue with great character work. It’s getting me very excited for Liu’s future issues.

  8. I didn’t like the last page. I think the book could have done without the “cliffhanger”.

  9. I have some quibbles with the overall pacing of the arc and Warbird is still an archetype badly in need of fleshing out, but I really liked this issue overall. And just when you think there’s actually going to be a super-hero wedding without any horrible surprises…there’s that last page. Good stuff. I really want the pace to pick up a little after this, though.

  10. Things I enjoyed about this issue: The writing, Cecilia Reyes, funny Sasquatch, weird Aurora, Beast, and the wedding, of course. Things I didn’t like: the art. Things that left me “huh?” Warbird.
