ARCHER & ARMSTRONG #12

Caught in the jaws of the Faraway!

General Redacted has laid claim to the greatest secret in a time-lost dimension that’s practically built on ‘em. Must be a doozy, huh? Well, it’s big enough that Redacted and his army of alien greys are laying waste to anyone and anything that approaches their occupied lands of the Faraway. Now, it’s down to Archer & Armstrong to run the greatest infiltration/liberation/inebriation mission history has ever known, which would be a cakewalk if its wasn’t for all the UFOs, hostile natives and, of course, the dinosaurs. Yup, could definitely do without those dinosaurs.

  1. This book is now officially one of my favorite titles right now. I’m really enjoying this arc; I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I particularly liked how the future disciples of Archer idea were tied into this issue. As they have across the board, the Valiant relaunch has found the right balance between honoring the past and creating new stories.

  2. Loving this book more and more with each issue. And they bring back Ivar the Timewalker too. Valiant is just quite simply putting out some of the best books on the market month after month.

    • Ivar!? He was one of my favorites! Do they do him justice? I haven’t read any of this series because I loved BWS’ so much and felt he got boned out of his characters. This recent stuff has looked pretty fun though.

    • Ivar is not in the book for long but I am hoping that he gets his own Timewalker book. He does allude to some future events in the Valiant universe though. The Valiant books have been stellar so far. Even the worst books are better than 95 percent of the other books out there.
