Anne Rice, among the most iconic creators in horror, brings one of her richest stories to IDW in this six-part tale of murder, demonic revenge, and the redemptive power of faith.

When a beautiful young woman is brutally slain in the streets of New York City, the demon Azriel sets out to discover who killed her, only to find a far more sinister plot that could end the world. Once a human in ancient Babylon, Azriel is a spirit of rage and terror that gradually rediscovers his humanity through holy vengeance and spiritual love.

  1. is this the first anne rice comic? im really curious bout this one. i’ve read her vampire novels and a handful of her erotic books under a different name and liked them all. my wife, on the other hand, has read a ton of her books and told me that she would even like to check out the comic, and she already likes american vampire, so if all goes according to my diabolical plan, i’ll have her just as addicted to comics as i am and our love will grow (as well as my comic collection!) you guys cant see it but im twisting my mustache, rubbing my hands together and laughing all crazy like!

    • indeed, the indoctrination station. She will no longer look at you askance for shirking your duties whilst visiting fantasy land. Built in kitchen pass, or should i say, comic pass.
