  1. I hate always praising this book in the context of how, ultimately, the current season of the Buffy book has been somewhat underwhelming. This can certainly stand alone on its own strengths- the writing and dialogue snaps, Rebekah Isaac’s artwork is fantastic- and those delicious Steve Morris covers (on both books)! My only complaint: part of the appeal of the Angel character was his battle with his vampire nature- and that toll that took on those around him. Now, Angel just seems to be some sort of vague, supernatural being, not necessarily of the vampire ilk. I miss that.

    • I think his vampire-ness still shows when he is fighting and roughing up people when looking for info. The vampiric nature might not take a toll on Faith, but his current quest/focus might.

    • Oh, no I do see those instances where he vamps out for a fight, but I still really dig ‘vampire procedure’.

  2. Great issue! Loved the Giles flashbacks, and curious how the old character’s new temperament will alter her personality.

  3. Great stuff, best issue yet!
