  1. this cover works for me

  2. The cover is great! It’s Olliffe that doesn’t work for me.

  3. I would buy the adventures of paint drying man vs grass growing boy if Marcos Martin did the cover so I am soooo sold

  4. @peterparker – if you didn’t just secure yourself ‘comment of the week’ I’m going on strike!

  5. @darthduck I will thank you in my acceptance speech if I do lol

  6. Kurt Busiek and Karl Kesel? I’m in.

Especially with a Marcos Martin cover (reminds me of <a href="http://www.coverbrowser.com/image/spectacular-spider-man-1976/66-1.jpg">Spectacular Spider-Man #66</a>)

  7. Blimey, that’s garbled – reminds me of Spectacular Spider-Man #66!

  8. I was out until I read Kurt Busiek’s name. Yes indeed.

  9. Awfully interesting.

  10. The previews look great. Watch out for a cameo.

  11. Ok kind of font nerdish, man crushing on Marcos Martin (I think I need help!) but I really like the perspective effect on the logo, very cool angle! Great composition on this! Why can’t he draw more! Does anyone know is he a slow worker?

  12. @peterparker18102: I assume he is. His last issue on ASM was a shared work. Or maybe because it was 3x a month. But I assume they write/draw ahead, right? Maybe he is kinda slow, but not Ethan Van Sciver slow. And yeah, the perspective is awesome because we’ve been familiar with the original angle for decades.

  13. My favorite part of the book was the ad on the back for Iron Man lunch meat. Ok ok i haven’t read it yet, but that ad was just kinda sorta weird.

  14. Extremely disappointing…

  15. Just call me an old fart, but I cannot stand when they "update" the time line that events happened…like Cap talking about using Wiki to look up info on Spiderman shortly after Cap’s re-introduction in the 1960’s.
