  1. One of my favorite minis out of Marvel in awhile, there was some Fear Itself crap involved but; I got over it. The artwork was some of the best I have seen in 2011 and the plot is just really cutting this group to the core.

  2. Honestly, this is probably in my list of Top 5 Best Marvel series for this year.

    • I agree. Really great characterization and art. I had never read Alpha Flight before and totally love this series. Will make a good trade.

  3. In the preview I saw, Eaglesham’s art for Wolverine was fantastic. Not as big a fan of his Heather (she’s too much of a supermodel bombshell and the overly freckled face seems to contrast sharply with the perfect skin), but Wolvie, wow, he never looked better.

  4. Diggin’ this so far. One or two issues looked a little rushed but I’m hoping they stick the landing with these last couple of issues.

  5. Solid series, but third-tier teams are a tough sell at Marvel these days. Will be interesting to see how far Defendes gets before it is cancelled.

  6. 4.5 great series and the art is just incredible! I am a little confussed on the plot and/or story line however; the action and drama are keeping me entertained none the less.
