I love evil Canada. With this book becoming an on-going, I hope malevolent Canada becomes a Marvel thing for a while. What do Canadians think? Hilarious and awesome, or an affront to their leaf-bearing banners?
I’m Canadian, and I think it’s great. An evil Canadian government isn’t even a new idea for Alpha Flight — Simon Furman and Steve Seagle played around with it in the 90s — but they’re taking it further in this series, and being much more realistic and respectful.
Diggin’ it.
I am so glad that this was extended to an ongoing, hopefully Claok & Dagger will get the same treatment.
So happy that this is an ongoing!!
As a Canadian I’ve been a fan of the flight for well ever. So very happy they are back. As for the evil canada, I works for this arc but hopefully they don’t keep it going . But it does give them a bit of leeway so they don’t need to know ALL of our politics but I would like to see them stay true to Canadian living soon. Love that is has a Canadian artist on board at least all the locals actually look like the places instead of the old comics which did not ( Toronto being surrounded by forests ha ha as example which is not the case.)
