I love me some talking monkeys.
I like this whole team, especially the Killer Robot.
I’m really enjoying this book. It was a little disjointed at first with the flashbacks but now I’m feeling better about it. A good idea, going well. Also LOVE this cover, Leinil Yu could do the cover for a turd and I would buy it… Maybe that’s a bit strong but I really like his work.
Yeah, I’m conflicted about this book. I appreciate the craftmanship and storytelling, but not really FEELING anything regaring anything outside the Namora mourning scene a few issues back. Unless something kicks up concept wise soon, I’m gonna have a tough time sticking with it.
This is where it’s at. I’ve been feeling underwhelmed by this book for the past few issue, a part for a few great moments, it seemed to be missing all that was great about this original mini series. But I think this issue was really wonderful. Great art, too.
Great issue, pick of the week. Solid story, great use of Namor, and the art is breathtaking.
You know it’s a great book when you have fun – and laughs – just reading the recap page.
Best Recap page in comics.
This has been my favorite issue so far. The Namora/Namor dynamic is great, and I just love the core group. So far it’s my pick, although I’ve got a lot more to read.
Jeff Parker’s books have always rocked the recap pages. ‘X-Men First Class’ had some of the best.
M-11 is brilliant.
And with this issue, I’m out. It’s just not doing it for me. I feel no connection to any of these characters, and the lack of personality being shown to the reader is disappointing. A shame. I really wanted to like this one.
