  1. I want to like this series, but neither of the first two issues delivered a ‘wow’ moment. I’ll see if I have room in my budget for it on Wednesday, but otherwise this may become left behind.

  2. Hopefully we’ll begin to see what character development soon, either way this has been a really fun book so far.

  3. Loved how issue 2 littered the words of Silent night throughout and in perfect context with the story.

Also loved Mitch Gerad’s incredible colour work. Those pages sure do pop.

    Looking forward to this one.

  4. I think this series is really so great. It’s got a real vibe like CBS’s The Unit had. It really is get in, execute the mission, disappear into the shadows of the night. No it’s not Jack Kirby style story, but Damn it scratches an itch.

  5. Picked this up because Mitch Gerads was at a local shop and he signed it. Military isn’t usually my thing but the art did look mighty nice.

  6. Just read it, military stuff continues to not be my thing, but I really did dig the art. I’ll have to watch to see what else he does (plus he’s a local guy so that shouldn’t be too hard). Story seemed good and heartfelt but all the acronyms and military-speak mostly confuses me. 🙂

    • It confused me too, but there is a small glossary in the back which will help when I reread it.

    • Sorry, I guess it wasn’t so much that it confused me – I could use context clues, but it kind of pulled me out of the story when I had to think about each thing. Actually I dug the glossary in the back, that kind of thing is neat. But this is definitely something I’d recommend to my military-minded friends.

  7. So so disappointed by this series. I think I’m done with it. The art is very very good though.

  8. This is the best issue of them all. It really hit the nail on the head.

  9. Hi everyone!

I just wanted to stop in and thank you all for reading! Even if you tried it out and it just wasn’t your thing, we appreciate you all. For those excited to keep reading, boy do we have some awesomeness in store for you! See you next month for #4!

    HUA!

  10. What a great book! Love this series. Glad that this one started developing the characters more…and the art was incredible. Very nice!
