  1. Too bad there’s no cover image, Dave Johnson’s design is spectacular. He has been doing a really great job on this and the BPRD covers. The first issues story was great, I can’t wait to get my hands on this one.

    • @TurdSandwich -based on your recommendation from the awesome BPRD Hell on Earth Russia #2 thread, I’m gonna pick up the first two issues of this series. What a great cast and the art is great too! Thanks!

    • Your welcome, I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it. Nice to see the cover is up now.

  2. That…cover…is…Awesome!

Nowadays, between Dave Johnson and Ryan Sook – covers have become a prize of their own!

  3. This was so good. Pg22 could be a panel of the week, and the last page had me rolling. It was that perfect balance of scary and funny that Mignola and Arcudi have perfected. It was great to see some old faces again, and James Harren did a bang -up job, I am looking forward to more of his art in a Johann story in a couple months.

  4. Who is this JAMES HARREN?!?!?! he’s AMAZING!!! those fight scenes are so dynamic

  5. Perfect.

  6. It was nice to see a little bit of the old, laid back Hellboy, no matter how brief the appearance. I love where Mignola took the story in the Hellboy books, but it got heavy. This was fun.

  7. hellboy books rock! make mine mignola!
