I’m hoping this One-Shot by Matt Kindt (future writer of Frankenstein) has a similar look to the original. He used water color and then tinted the background in photoshop to give it a dated look (1940/50-ish).
Glad to see someone like Kindt’s sensibilities (simple, yet refined art style) in the ‘big leagues’ of comics!

@Agent Graves – I’ve got ‘high’ hopes for this too! Kindt’s Super Spy & the original 3 Story were awesome. (Btw, cool choice for a name – I’m surprised that character hasn’t been used as an avatar before now)
