VIDEO: The Image Revolution Kickstarter Trailer

2012 is shaping up to be the year of Image Comics. With the 20th anniversary of Image Comics, Image Expo earlier this year, and what seems like total dominance in terms of releasing new and creative titles practically every week, Image Comics is as popular as ever.

So it should come as no surprise that the folks behind the documentaries Grant Morrison: Talking With Gods and Warren Ellis: Capturing Ghosts have begun a documentary project about Image Comics.  Comics In Focus: The Image Revolution has begun, and of course, they’ve set up a Kickstarter to help fund the production. Check out their trailer/request for funding below:

If you’d like to see The Image Revolution get made, head over to Kickstarter and kick in a few bucks.

  1. Please please please please donate to this if you can. I loved the Grant Morrison doc and eagerly await the Ellis one. This is a great story (check out the book about Image from Twomorrows as well) and deserves to be told. There are plenty of great comic docs on kickstarter too

  2. Thanks for posting this. I was one of the first backers and i still fear that they won’t reach their goal. Still only 74 backers. Come on people. There must be more than 74 people who want to see an image documentary being made.

  3. ya.. i think I’m going to have to donate to this now. Thanks for posting this guys

  4. Fuck Yes!!!
