Conor and I got to attend the NYC premiere of Kick-Ass earlier this week, and while you have to wait for the movie to come out for our review podcast, you can get a taste of how I liked the movie in here. The event, sponsored by Lion's Gate and UGO was a ton of fun, and featured a Q&A with Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. afterwards. Anyone who was anyone in low rent New York pop culture media was there, and I can personally attest that neither Joe Quesada nor Tom Brevoort got reserved seating.
I think there might be some spoilers, so if you're super conscious about that, be warned. For more, check out Ron's spoiler-free-esque review.
My comic shop guy had a ton of Kick Ass swag today (from a screening last night?) and he was giving it all away for free. I walked away with a Kick Ass ball cap.
I have no idea what Millar said. But JRJR looks teh sexy
I think I might have bought a mattress from JRJR once.
Hahahah Way to go Josh))))))
Hopefully I"m going to get Kick-Ass hardcover this weekend.
Looks like it was a good time. Definitely looking forward to seeing the film as I bailed on the book.
oh, hello josh!
@cromulent: I offer my services as Scottish-to-English translator, as I have often had to do in the past.
Also, does that two-second clip of Josh qualify as a teaser trailer for the iFanboy review?
