  1. OK, that was kinda cool

  2. Interesting typo in the first sentence.

  3. Damn-it!  Now i’m interested in this event

  4. I like Marvel’s events, but I’m not into this one for some reason.  Maybe it’s because I’m not a Thor fan.  Hopefully, it will turn out to be a great story and I’ll read it in trade.

  5. WOW

  6. I am so ready to get TOCKED!

  7. @TheAskanison  haha freudian slip – I fixed it

  8. @Ron, I don’t want to know what kinda freudian slip that was.

  9. I’m interested in seeing what Fraction does with his hands on the wheel.

  10. Wonder if this will have a satisfactory ending? That seems to be the problem with many a story. I’ve been burned by a couple of Marvel events that ended poorly. Not that DC or anyone else is perfect!

  11. Lot’s of hate out there directed toward event superhero books (let’s face it, the average readers are getting old and ever more jaded toward the cycles of events which used to work perfectly for us when we were kids with short attention spans)
That being said, I’m very excited for Fear Itself. This kind of stuff is what got me into comics in the first place and, though I understand why it is tiresome for many–and I won’t be buying the tie-ins unless they seem to exist successfully on their own merit–I’ll probably always be excited for a big Marvel Universe crossover mega-event if I trust the creators. Story sounds interesting and the art looks fantastic. I’m in! This trailer only makes me more excited!
(my apologies for being a relatively optimistic superhero comics fan! can’t help it!)

  12. I think it’s good that Marvel develpoed this trailer. Comics need more marketing.

  13. That looked cool.  I thank i might chick it out. MARVEL WIN!

  14. Use of video a nice way to hype the event.

  15. So is this how Steve Rogers regains the mantle as the true Captain America?

  16. If everyone hates events so much, why do they always sell so well, and cause the numbers for the tie-in books to jump as well? The numbers don’t seem to match the opinions expressed. I’m not being snarky asshole internet guy, I’m really curious. I see a ton of people complaining about events, yet they always seem to boost sales. I find that very odd. I am not anti-event, per se. I buy specific events, depending on the story/characters. I skip some, buy others.

  17. @JohnVFerrigno  Compulsion. Fear of missing out. Hope that this time it will be really good. Of course, some people really like events too.

  18. wow……….epic!

  19. HAMMER TIME!

and also, I love that all creators have the same size font for credits.

    Good stuff!

  20. I’m in just for Immonen (whoa – say that three times fast).

But I’ll admit it – I like events (when they’re well done).
