Busiek posted shots on his blog of the upcoming Shockrockets: We Have Ignition hardcover from IDW. It looks fantastic, and I'd nearly forgotten about the series. It was the first time I ever encountered Stuart Immonen's work, and if you think you know what his style is, check this out. It looks like the book will be out in November, and it comes highly recommended by iFanboy all around. Shockrockets is science fiction adventure with biker fighter pilots in the year 2087.
Did I mention Stuart Immonen, who is quite literally as good as any artist working in comics, and better than most? Did I mention Kurt Busiek, who was at the time this was created, on a creative high as good as any other writer in comics? Did I mention this new collection was put together by IDW's Scott Dunbier, who's behind the Parker books, and the Rocketeer collections?

Well, I’m sold. I had no idea this even existed!
I have been going back and reading things by creators that I like and reading them. I could not find this anywhere so I pirated it (yeah, I did it) and it is really good. I highly recommend it. I will be buying this hardcover.
