‘The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!’ – S02E18 – “Emperor Stark”

It’s like Emperor Doom, but with Tony Stark. Maybe. Anyway, Emperor Doom was a great little Avengers story.

Here’s how “Emperor Stark” is described:

Vision awakens after a month of repairs only to find that Iron Man and the Avengers have taken over the Earth. With the whole planet against him, Vision must get to the bottom of Tony Stark’s ‘utopia’ and come face to face with the power of the Purple Man, in a new episode of The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes on Marvel Universe on Disney XD. Guest starring are Brent Spiner (Star Trek: The Next Generation) as Purple Man and Peter Jessop (Green Lantern: Emerald Knights) as Vision.

    Brent Spiner was great as Purple Man, and hasn’t Purple Man been used a lot by Bendis? In Alias and New Avengers? This was another well done episode and next week has Red Skull! Looking forward to that too!

    I also thought Cap was great, again! I really loved Cap in “along came a spider.”

    I remember reading Emporer Doom soooo many times. This was a wonderful adaptation, and great way to get the audience to empathize with Vision.

    Also, his 500 ton gravity bomb hit to Thor was awesome!
