Caught without his armor, Tony Stark faces A.I.M.’s latest creation, Technovore, a power-hungry monster. While Tony fights for his life, A.I.M. moves to steal the Iron Man armor itself, only to come face-to-face with Captain America, Black Panther and War Machine.

War Machine. Nice. I guess this is “next time”,
I really hope the new shield goes with skrull-Cap. That was cool that Maria Hill mentioned Spidey and the x-men. I haven’t watched any of the Ultimate Spider-man is it supposed to be in the same universe?
I think EMH is meant to be in the same universe as Wolverine & the X-men and Spectacular Spider-man.
I loved both of those shows. I wanted that second season of X-men so so bad. Spectacular had some of the best animated action I have ever seen. Losing those was the saddest part of the whole Disney thing. Lucky the guy from Spectacular is doing Young Justice. Between EMH and YJ it is great time for cartoons.
Please don’t hate me guys.

No hate man you have the right to your opinion. I thought it worked for Cap’s kid in Next Avengers but I want Steve rocking the original. Just like I prefer the original costume over the one he’s got this season. It doesn’t work in the movies but I love the wing ears in the animated form.
That’s why I love it so much!

I like the photon shield on Cap only when he’s rocking the Commander Rogers outfit, not as Captain America, that things as iconic as he is, like he said in one episode “one of a kind”….if it got broke then they need to get more vibranium and make him another or have the genius’s at his disposal take the pieces of the old one and put it back together, its a sci-fi world, they can do it. I get the use of the photon shield was just to integrate newer material but the original must come back. He should have the photon shield implanted in his glove as a back up for the occasional times he’s been without his real one.
Not my favorite episode, and not nearly as good as last weeks. Makes me a little sad, as I don’t have Disney XD and have to pay for these off Amazon.
Not a fan of the photon shield, but it will work until Cap gets his old shield back. Seeing War Machine was cool. Plus I could see a little bit of Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark when he is talking to Pepper. Does anyone think that over time Cap will take over as the leader. I think Tony is a good leader but Cap is more suited for the job. Can’t wait for the next episode.
Man the opening is terrible now. It seems like something someone cooked up in an hour before airing. What’s with the clunky voice over??
Agreed. I miss the song and I never though that would happen.
The song was bad, but at least had a certain charm to it. The voice over just sounds rushed.
I’m surprised no one is talking about the introduction of superhero registration in this episode. It seems as if they are laying the ground for a Civil War arc.
Also, energy shield or no, this is NOT Capt. America, it’s a damn dirty stinking Skrull, so I’m sure the energy shield will only last as long as he does, I’d say mid-season.
Agreed. Also thought Maria Hill looked a bit too afraid during the action. War Machine was great though.
Well, I stumbled upon this episode about midway through. My 5yr old son & I watched it., and by the end set up the DVR to record the series.
I’m a little scared that something has gone very wrong at Marvel Animation. Ultimate Spiderman is a huge disappointment so far and frankly there is something a little off in both S02 AEMH eps. The action/animation is different somehow and the writing isnt as tight as the first season.
I liked both eps but only about as much as my least favorite from last season. Re-watch the first episode. The fight sequence in Doom’s castle is clumsy at best and the dialogue throughout is not good at all. I hope it’s a glitch. Ep 02 was better but something about the action is not the same…
The new title sequence is the thing that scares me the most. How is it possible that someone ok’d that? No one who made it to the second season of a show would need such a lame intro and it’s a terrible way to draw new people in. The song was bad to begin with. How they let the weakest part of such a great show get worse is troubling…
Disney doesnt exactly have the best track record for producing content for anyone over 10yro… John Carter anyone? I am apprehensively looking forward to the Tron cartoon. CG cartoons can be good if the writing is good. There are plenty of good examples of that in the first two seasons of Clone Wars and GL is off to a great start.
I honestly thought Marvel Animation had turned a corner with Wolverine & The Xmen, Spectacular Spiderman and then AEMH all being so well done. I guess those 4 seasons worth of shows are pretty incredible considering they hadnt produced much of anything since the 90s. None of the the direct to DVD movies have been that great, although I loved Planet Hulk. Hopefully ‘Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.’ will be done half as well.
Maybe I’m being too critical. I’m sure this season of AEMH is going to be good. It was almost certainly already written before Disney took over. We’ll see what the rest of Ultimate Spiderman. The action isnt bad but the writing sucks. If I can’t have both, I will take good writing over action anyday. AEMH S01 had both in spades. I hope it lasts for a couple more…
