I found this great article on Steve Ditko over at Salon. It really does a nice job of explaining why he’s important to modern comics, and comics in general. And for those of you who have always wondered, it explains fairly well what the hell happened to him.
And it’s as objective as can be, as he would have liked it.
Furthermore, it looks like this will be starting a monthly comics/graphic novel column at Salon Books. Great.
