Terry Moore Shares Cover to RACHEL RISING

As promised back in our video interview with Terry Moore, he's now shared the cover, and our first look at his new series, Rachel Rising.

Details have been sparse on the series, but it's vaguely in the horror vein, as Rachel wakes up in a grave, and it goes from there. Moore, who will take no break between Echo and this series, will release the first issue in July, just in time for San Diego Comic-Con.

Comments

  1. Never been in on the ground floor for a Moore series, so very much looking forward to this.

  2. Just started reading Echo in trades, and really enjoying it. Looking forward to seeing what Terry Moore has for us in Rachel Rising.

  3. Just read the first Echo trade and LOVED it so I might hop on to this one with issues.

  4. Wow, what a great cover! I never read Strangers in Paradise, and the first ish of Echo didn’t grab me (although I plan on reading the trades due to great reviews), but this has got me really wanting to know more about this book!

  5. Terry Moore is the one creator from whom I will buy whatever he puts out.

  6. I bought Echo in issues but I may switch to trade on this so I don’t have to double dip. It will help my wallet.

  7. Gee, I was going to read Moore’s next series in singles but I’m really not into the whole supernatural thing.

I envy those of you who started with Echo with issue 1! Been loving to read the trades but the wait is killing me!

  8. interesting cover, very different feel from his other work, very exciting stuff

  9. The extreme stupidity that was Strangers in Paradise kind of coloured my view on Moore’s work but i can difinately see that he is improving. I might actually pick this up

  10. @edward  I didn’t like SiP either. Too “crisis to crisis” for my taste. But Echo, Echo is very interesting. Less melodramatic that SiP which was a big problem for me.

  11. @JNewcomb – where does it say it’s supernatural?

Also, SiP is in my top 5 comics in the history of ever.

  12. Is that the final title treatment? It looks really thrown together.

  13. Yeah, I hope the logo changes cos it really spoils it. 30 second photoshop job.

  14. Wow, wild stuff! I’ll probably pick up the first issue, but will probably switch to trades quickly after that. (Just something I do.)

  15. SiP is one of the greatest comics ever produced.
