As this week's American Gothic themed Entertainment Weekly reminds me, a new batch of southern discomfort is brewing over at HBO. That's right, belles and bloodsuckers, it's time for an all new season of True Blood. To get yourself in the mood–mind that's not us questioning the voluminousness of your primal urges–why not sink your teeth into some True Blood comics?
In IDW's True Blood: Tainted Love mini series, a bit of the good stuff goes bad, and that spells trouble for the good fer nothins of Bon Temps. Dosing on True Blood is meant to keep darker tendencies at bay, but what happens when the stuff gets spiked and a whole town full of vampires gets more hot and bothered than usual?
Written by Marc Andreyko with series actor Michael McMillian, it might just see you through those sweaty, itch-fidgety nights between new episodes.
