A year ago, we reported on two Marvel anime series in the works from Japan's Madhouse studio. The two trailers–one for a Captain Harlock infused Iron Man and another for a samurai style take on Wolverine–generated a ton of debate. This weekend Jeph Leob and G4 announced plans to bring those series, along with X-Men and Blade seasons to US airwaves. All four shows consist of 12 episode story-lines, and writer Warren Ellis helped develop every one of them. If his work on the G.I. Joe: Resolute web series is any indication, these are at least worth a look.

Iron Man, Wolverine, X-Men, and Blade all arrive in anime form on the G4 cable network in 2011.

Does anyone know whatever happened to the 2nd season of the cartoon, Wolverine & the X-Men? The first season aired over a year ago and was actually quite good. I was looking forward to it returning. But I haven’t heard a thing.
Nevermind. I just found info saying that it was canceled due to some sort of compensation issues with the company doing the animation. Typical Marvel. Sigh. Sucks as I really dug the Age of Apocalypse tease at the end of season 1. Guess we’ll have to make due with these dumb anime’s.
Hmm. The CGI for Iron Man in action looks rather conspicuous.
I suppose it’s good that they’re giving things like this a shot, but I couldn’t possibly be any less interested in this.
the iron man ones i don’t mind. But that’s not wolverine. That dude is….. pretty. And the claws seems to come from his palms and not his knuckles. *snore*
WTF was that with Wolverine? He had a friggen mullet that would make Billy Ray Cyrus jealous.
I was confused by the entire Wolverine trailer. My thought process: "Why did Daken grow out the mohawk to something that looks even dumber?" "Wait, maybe that’s not supposed to be Daken, well that’s good because he’s lame." "Oh sweet Jesus, I think that’s supposed to be Wolverine." The Iron Man trailers looked OK…Wolverine not so much.

what no "Bub" ? I’ll pass. The Iron Man looks cool but can’t help but feeling they over did it on the yellow! A nice blue sky would’ve done wonders for that air battle scene.
