They’ve warned us. They’ve given us more than enough advance notice. They’ve even put it on the cover of all their comics. But apparently, this Avengers vs. X-Men thing is REALLY happening and we’ve got proof, thanks to this nifty preview of The New Avengers #25.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m infinitely curious as to why Iron Fist has a Phoenix logo on his costume. Marvel tells us that The New Avengers #25 promises to reveal “a shocking connection” between Iron Fist and the Phoenix Force! Shocking they say!

5 mins ago I could not give two shakes of a care towards this. After this preview, I am very eager. Love me some Iron Fist (not enough to jump on Defenders though) and the 3 page preview, struck all the right tones.

While I am not fully on-board yet, I definitely moved from “Not Interested” to “Mildly Curious” with the inclusion of Iron Fist. Still need to see / hear more.
I submit that Defenders is worth your time if you like weird shit.

Dark phoenix is awesome
Iron FIst is underrated and equally as awesome
I want to echo the fact that up to this point I was only mildly interested in a xmen/avengers fight, but the point where Bendis decided to include dark phoenix was the moment where he probably sold this idea to every comic book reader out there.
For anyone who has the mildest amount of comic book knowledge knows that when teh Dark Phoenix is invovled, s**t is about to get real.
i think that’s the best image of iron fist i’ve seen on a cover.

@jmsnyder Brilliant posted, did not know that Foreman had that range as I just know him from Animal Man. That image reminds me of Jae Lee and Hellshock in particular
