PREVIEW: Billy The Kid’s Old Timey Oddities

You've already seen me rave about the upcoming Billy The Kid's Old Timey Oddities and the Ghastly Fiend of London #1 coming out this week from Eric Powell and Dark Horse.  Well, looks like my raving made it all the way back to them, as Dark Horse and Mr. Powell have been kind enough to provide us with a preview of the upcoming series.

Below is an 18 page story that originally appeared as the backups to the recently published Buzzard, also from Dark Horse and Eric Powell.  For the first time collected online in one place, this story serves as an excellent preface to the upcoming tale of Billy the Kid, the Elephant Man, Jack the Ripper all on the streets of London.

So if you're curious about picking up the new book tomorrow at the comic shop, hopefully this story helps give you an idea of what to expect.  And trust me, my excitement for this book is nont hyperbole, the last go-around with Billy the Kid by Eric Powell was a blast and this one looks to be as well.
